September Teaser Time Day 5

Welcome to Day 5 of Teaser Time week with My Favorite Things! As always, you can see full set reveals, prize information and a full list of participating designers for today's featured products at the MFT Blog. Today I'm teasing you with the Thank You Die-namics, Textile Backgrounds and elements of Blueprints 7.

How do you like the 80's color combo - Limeade + Cotton Candy?! Good times, people, good times.  I've added in some neutrals with the Steel Blue tone on tone Thank You Die-namics and white dot-drips that were cut using the Dispersed Dots Die-namics and the centers of the 'a' and 'o' in the Thank You Die-namics. The Steel Blue stripes were stamped with LJD Textile Backgrounds.

Both the Cotton Candy arrow inside the card and the chevrons on the card front are part of Blueprints 7 which is chock-full of trendy elements, including the sweet little Limeade square you see above. The 80's theme was still in my head, taking me back to my school days, so I stamped the notebook lines stamp from LLD Take Note in Sweet Tooth pigment ink and then topped it with a sentiment from Sending Thanks in Steel Blue ink. Sorta looks like the lines on a football field, doesn't it?! Ü

Come on back tomorrow for Day 6 of Teaser Time week and thanks for stopping by today! Until then, you can always check out the MFT Blog for links to more eye candy from Team MFT!

MFT Teaser Day 4 + WSC 139

Welcome to Day 4 of Teaser Time week with My Favorite Things! As always, you can see full set reveals, prize information and a full list of participating designers for today's featured products at the MFT Blog. Today I'm teasing you with Sending Thanks. You've seen it around since it was last month's Free with $60 set (yours free when you spend $60 at the MFT Boutique).

I've combined Sending Thanks with September's Free with $60 set, Large Scale Backgrounds, and this week's WSC sketch #139. You're also getting a peek at the Winged Beauties and Fancy Butterflies Die-namics. I know, lots of new must-haves, huh?

Blueprints 6 worked perfectly for this week's sketch along with a fun color combo: Steel Grey, Fuse Green, Kraft and Primitive White. I love the combination of the Large Scale Backgrounds polka dots combined with the Winged Beauties crew.

So glad you stopped today and hope you'll be back tomorrow, and the next few days, for more Teaser Time fun! Don't forget to check out the MFT Blog for complete Teaser Time information...including prizes!

September Teasers Day 2 {Winged Beauties}

Welcome to Day 2 of Teaser Time week with My Favorite Things! As always, you can see full set reveals, prize information and a full list of participating designers for today's featured products at the MFT Blog. Today I'm teasing you with Mona's gorgeous new butterfly set, Winged Beauties. If you're looking for that go-to butterfly set, it's right.here.folks.

I'd recently seen a really cool color-blocked card (probably Pinterest) and thought it would make for a great contrast with the beautiful, floaty butterflies from Winged Beauties. I also wanted some depth to my stamping, as if the butterflies were fluttering around in a random cluster, so I used three different colors of ink to achieve this look: Steel Blue, Steel Grey and Sweet Tooth on Steel Grey card stock.

I love, love, love the variety in sizes of butterflies available in Winged Beauties which lent itself perfectly for the look and feel I wanted. A single strip of Lemon Drop card stock adds a wow-pow punch and is stamped with a sentiment from Fall Foliage in Steel Blue ink.

The inside of my card carries on with the same stamping and color blocking look at the card front. A large, open butterfly stamped in Sweet Tooth pigment ink is topped with another sentiment from Fall Foliage stamped in Steel Grey ink on a Steel Grey layer.

I hope you've enjoyed today's Teaser Time post featuring Winged Beauties! Like I said, it's a must-have butterfly set with so many options. Please stop back Saturday for more MFT Teaser Time fun, and don't forget that the MFT Blog has complete Teaser Time information including full set reveals, prize information and links to each designer teasing along each day!

September Teasers Day 1

Welcome to Teaser Time week with My Favorite Things! Today I'm sharing a little of Lisa Johnson's new set, Fall Foliage, and it's definitely a must-have set. You can take a peek at all of today's featured teaser sets and Die-namics at the MFT Blog, but for now, let's take a look at Fall Foliage!

I've used one of the many leaves included in Fall Foliage to create a stunning background with minimal effort! Before stamping the leaves in Factory Green ink on the Olive layer, I die cut the Olive layer with the new Die-namics Mini Album Fancy Ticket STAX.  At the same time, I used one of the Pierced Rectangle STAX to die cut an opening where I knew I wanted to stamp a sentiment from Fall Foliage on the Factory Green card base. I love how these stamps and Die-namics make simple stamping elegant!

My second card follows the same 'simply stamped' rule with a single oak leaf from Fall Foliage in Fuse Green ink on a Fuse Green card base. To really emphasize the leaf and sentiment, I embossed a Pierced Rectangle STAX into the card base using Bar's tutorial on embossing with your Die-namics. I can't get enough of that technic, and again, it adds elegance with minimal effort!

My third and final card for today uses a few more of the leaves from Fall Foliage (seriously, there are so many wonderful options with this set) in an autumn color combination of Tangy Orange, Factory Green and Fuse Green on a Primitive Cream card base. The sentiment, also from Fall Foliage, is stamped on an Olive Fishtail Flag in Olive ink and tied up with a few rounds of hemp cord.

And there you have it, three simply stamped and easy to mass produce cards using Fall Foliage in a warm autumn palette! I hope you've enjoyed today's Teaser Time post and stop back tomorrow for more! The MFT Blog has complete Teaser Time information including full set reveals, prize information and links to each designer teasing along each day.
