MFT Release Countdown - Day 3

Welcome to day 3 of the MFT Release Countdown! Today's card features the Stitched Speech Bubbles Edges Die-namics in combination with Birdie Brown's adorable new set, You Make My Tail Wag.
The Die-namics Stitched Speech Bubble Edges was last month's Free with $60, so you may already have them in your arsenal, and if you don't, you NEED them!

I love how the stitched edge of the speech bubble looks with the stitched edge of the Blueprints 23 panel. And how hilarious is this leg-lifting pooch in combination with the sentiment. E'ruff said.

If these sentiments aren't enough to cheer you up, I don't know what will! The dog bone is from another new Die-namics being featured later in the countdown - Pet Accents (yep, you need it).

All featured products can be found on the MFT Blog today along with videos and links to all designers playing along with today's featured products. Thanks for stopping and be sure to come back tomorrow for more ideas and inspiration for you shopping list!

MFT Release Countdown - Day 4

It's Day 4 of MFT Release Countdown Week, and I've got warn you - the new Birdie Brown sets in this release are to-die-for cute! If you're even remotely attached to your furry friend, you're gonna flip! Full product reveals can be seen at the MFT Blog

I Knead You and comes with a coordinating Die-namics set. Oh, for the love of Pete!
Meet the cutest little kitty on the block. She's from Birdie Brown's

I used a Blueprints 15 to die cut the wonky Primitive White and Black Licorice panels and then off set them for a fun layered look. Pete likes 'em that way (that's what he told me, anyway).  He also likes the dry embossed Circle Grid Stencil background on the black layer, which you can see here if you look closely. This stamp set comes with so many adorable images...something for every kitty!

I finished the card inside with a sweet sentiment and die cut ball of yarn to match Pete's furry coat.

MFT March Release Countdown - Day 5

Welcome to Day 5 of Release Countdown Week with My Favorite Things! Today's card features Blueprints 23 and an awesome new set from  Lisa Johnson Designs - Circle Scribble Flowers.

There are so many possibilities with the Circle Scribble Flowers stamp set and coordinating Die-namics Scribbles. I settled on a combination of Persimmon and Coral Crush.

I love how this color combo pops against the Black Licorice panel die cut with Blueprints 23. The stitched edge of the panel is such a polished look.

The sentiments used on the card front and inside are from an upcoming set called Totally Happy. A single Persimmon Scribbles Die-namics is the perfect embellishment, and leaves just enough room for a hand written note.

Thanks for stopping by today. You'll find complete Release Countdown details at the MFT Blog, so make your way over there, and I'll see you back here tomorrow with more sneak peeks.

MFT Die-namics Design Challenge

Happy Friday and welcome to a fun new challenge hosted by My Favorite Things called Die-namics Design. This month's Die-namics Design focus is on using word Die-namics to get your message across.

I have two cards to share with you today using a yummy color combo of Coral Crush, Insulation Pink and gold along with word Die-namics from Celebratory Greetings & Thank You.

you ROCK. Seriously, you do.

I doubled and offset 'you' to focus attention on my die cut sentiment.
Such a powerful word, isn't it?

Coral Crush + gold + Insulation Pink is my version of spring break!

Say 'cheese'.

Just like on Sesame Street, I took the word 'cheers' from Celebratory Greetings, and turned it into 'cheese' by cutting a third 'e'. My punny.

To pull the colors together, I added a sideline background of stripes using Pink Insulation dye ink and Striped Backgrounds.
Now it's your turn to pull out your Die-namics words and make them the centerpiece of your projects. The MFT Design Team is on hand with more inspiration, so stop over at the MFT Blog for links and full details on this month's Die-namics Design Challenge.
